About Us

For the client,
it happens only once

For an attorney it may be something seen every week, but for most clients it is a first, and a once-in-a-lifetime, experience.

That is why we do not ask you to decide on retaining us right away. We first tell you what can be done and what will be difficult, and once we take on your case, your attorney stays in direct contact with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to retain you if I get a consultation?

No. You can just get a consultation. You can take your time deciding whether to retain us after hearing how we would approach your case.

Can I get a consultation at night or on weekends?

Yes. You can send us a message through the messenger chat at any time, including weekends and holidays. Our staff replies first and passes your case to the lawyer in charge.

I have police questioning coming up. Can an attorney go with me?

Yes. Defense counsel can be present during the questioning of a suspect. It is a good idea to organize the facts and what you will say before the questioning.

How long does a divorce by agreement take?

After you apply to the court for confirmation of intent to divorce by agreement, there is a reflection period: 3 months if you have children to raise, and 1 month if you do not.

I'm worried that what I say in a consultation will become known to others.

Under the Attorney-at-Law Act, attorneys must keep confidential any information they learn in the course of their work. This applies even if you only consult us and do not retain us.

How can I find out how my case is going?

You can ask your attorney directly. We will contact you first when something important happens, such as when a brief is filed or a hearing date is set.
